Back in September, I was offered a new job at Artsy Abode. I had been with Stein Mart for almost 5 years and I was ready for a change. Something new and better pay. Artsy Abode was offering me a dollar more than I made at the Stein, which was huge since no one at Stein Mart had been given a raise in about 2 or 3 years. The day came that I was gonna turn in my 2 weeks notice, and I was so nervous! I absolutely adore my boss, Charlie, and I was terrified of upsetting him. When I told him about my new job offer, he told me not to make any final decisions yet and that he would call me and let me know if he could offer me more money. He called me the next day and got me a 2 dollar raise! I was so excited! So, of course, I'm still with Stein Mart, and celebrated my 5th year there at the end of October.
For my birthday this year we went to Universal and Islands of Adventure theme parks in Orlando. I dont think I'll ever outgrow theme parks!! We finally got to visit the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter which was amazing. I had never seen any Harry Potter movie before this and I still found this part of the park to be incredible! I can't wait to go back! As a result of visiting this park, I have now seen all of the movies and am ready to start the books as well. Proud to be a Harry Pothead!! =)
